What's New in Stardog 12.1:

  • Advanced reasoning and planning in Voicebox: New capabilities elevate Voicebox's multi-step reasoning and planning using frontier models from OpenAI and Anthropic, enabling more sophisticated agentic AI workflows. Teams can now build and expose more powerful, explainable AI interactions, grounded in their organization's semantic model. This capability is currently available in private preview.
  • Intelligent document processing: Stardog’s GraphRAG pipeline now resolves duplicate entities consistently across batches of text documents, ensuring that knowledge extracted from large corpora of documents is accurately linked and deduplicated, delivering a cleaner, more connected knowledge graph at scale.
  • Consumption tracking dashboard: A new dashboard surfaces Stardog Unit (SDU) consumption at the organizational level, giving administrators and business stakeholders clear visibility into usage across endpoints and consumption types.
  • Data virtualization optimizations: Query performance against BigQuery and Teradata virtual graphs is substantially improved through targeted pushdown and execution optimizations, reducing latency and broadening the range of queries that can run efficiently directly against these sources.
  • Enhanced security and governance: With On-Behalf-Of (OBO) user credential pass-through support for Okta and MS Entra IDPs, AI agents and applications access source data using the end user's identity and permissions, enabling consistent enforcement of existing security policies, fine-grained access controls, and complete auditability while reducing risk and accelerating enterprise AI adoption.
